How To Download Amnesia Custom Stories
The Great Work is a fan made adventure for Amnesia: The Dark Descent created by Damascus7. In this mod you are Charles Longden, an archaeologist studying Minneburg, a German castle abandoned due to recent cave-ins. You are sleeping late one morning when you are shaken awake by a tremor running through the castle. There is no sign of your partner, Jane. Where has she gone? The answer lies only in the depths of Minneburg.
On that site, 'Mods' and 'Downloads' are both custom stories. If you download one, it should come up as a.rar file. You'll need an app like iZip or UnRar to make it a folder.
- Amnesia: The Dark Descent, a first person survival horror. A game about immersion, discovery and living through a nightmare. Literally the best horror game ever. I always download it and then delete it because its too scary 😀 But it has really good custom stories.
- If so, then I have some bone-chillingly good news: there's a lengthy custom story called The Great Work that will impress you with its design and writing while simultaneously scaring the poo out.
Mod requires the Justine patch update. To install the adventure download the archived file and extract it into “..Amnesia The Dark Descentcustom_stories” directory. In the end launch the game and select the mod in Custom Story menu.
