- edited March 2013You can ether use a mod or change their clothes when the tell tell signs for being pregnant start to show. Another good idea, go to the dresser (when you are not pregnant) and create another outfit with pregnancy clothes so your Sim can switch to that when they get pregnant. You of course have to know what pregnant Sims can wear.
Twallans MasterController is what i use to take my Sims back to CAS and change their prego outfit(s).

Then you can customize them color wise and pick matching shows and so on and so forth. After she begins to show you cannot change her clothes. But if you do change her clothes to maternity enabled clothes she should keep them after she begins to show.
If you are not opposed to mods: You can head over to Mr.Raas website nraas.wikispace.com and download his mod entitled 'Master Controller' after they are installed you can click on your sim to change the clothes at any time throughout her pregnancy. Only the pregnancy enabled clothes will appear to select from. If you do choose to install his mods make sure you read all the instructions and follow them as his mods can damage her game or save files.
Finally,if you are interested in other clothes that are pregnancy enabled you can head over to modthesims2.com and search for pregnancy enabled clothing there. There are instructions on how to install these clothes on the website or there are several posts that can help you here on the forums.

Adult female Sims can become pregnant in the game and immediately switch to default maternity clothes during the pregnancy. 'The Sims 3' allows players to download and use new outfits for their pregnant Sims, making it easy for a player to spice up the mommy-to-be's wardrobe.
Visit 'The Sims 3' website, and log in (see Resources). Just cause 3 crack skidrow. If you have not already registered your game, you will need to do this now and create a user ID and password.
Click on 'The Exchange' tab, and select 'Clothing' to find downloadable clothing.
Type 'Maternity' in the field for keywords on the left side of the screen to see the downloadable maternity outfits.
Click 'Add to Game' to download the outfit you'd like and follow the on-screen instructions to download the outfit.
Open 'The Sims 3' by putting the game disc in your computer or clicking the 'The Sims 3' icon on your desktop. After the game loads, click on your family to begin playing. The new maternity outfit will now be available for your pregnant Sim when you click on a dresser and select 'Plan Outfit.'
Further customize your outfit using the color and pattern options available under the 'Plan Outfit' menu and clicking the icon on the bottom right corner.
